Ok this is my problem, I modded two xboxs (one for me xboxA and one for my brother xboxB). Both Xbox's were moded on the same day with the same brand modchip (xenium Ice modchip). Well xboxB's HD started clicking than finally died. So I bought a replacement HD, and following the Xenium Ice pdf guide. I connected the replacement HD to the xboxA HD. XboxA was set to master and the replacement HD was set to slave, and than I used Xeniums HD upgrade wizard to copy xboxA's partition to the replacement. Everything copied fine. After doing this I put the replacement HD into xboxB. Now everything starts up fine. It plays original xbox games fine, my evox dashboard starts up fine. When I use a backed up game, it boots up and than freezes up shortly after the game has started. My question is are there specific files on HD that would make swapping drives between different xbox's not work? Help Sorry for the long winded description I just wanted to be detailed. Thanks
Ah, I have almost the same exact problem. Only I can play only some games that are on the harddrive, IE: fable and tetris worlds. But can't play others IE:forza and battlefront 2. I think it has to do with the HDDkey, but I have no idea how to fix that.
