Hard Drive Size Limit: Award BIOS v6.00pg

    I just bought a 300GB WD HD.

    I was wondering if I would have a problem with the capacity being recognized.

    My mobo is a Gigabyte GA-8PE667 Ultra with v6.00pg award bios (9/12/02).

    I have service pack 2

    My mobo supports ATA 133/100/67 up to 4 devices

    I plan on doing 3 partitions, each being 100GB.

    motherboard should pick it up alright. can always go to the motherboard site to see if there is a newer bios update & see what changes this bios update does
