hard drive space

    i'm losing harddrive space on my p.c ,i have a sony vaio with 160gb which is split into 2.1 has 27gb and another 123gb.it's the 27gb which is losing space because window xp and all the rest of the programs r running off this hdd.i've search the hdd but can't find where i'm losing the space any idea's

    try runinng ccleaner and even defraging your hard drive and see if u can get any space back also use easycleaner and remove all invalid registry values i hope that helps.

    If you have enough space on the other drive, try resizing your partitions. That way, no data will be lost and you will get a little more space on the windows XP installation drive.

    i think i've got lost file in my hdd but can't find them any clues on hw 2 find them thx.

    sometimes the pc crashes and i'm burning somthing onto dvd so when it crashes i'm sure i lose some files and space.

    Try resizing the partitions with Partition Magic
    Like from this:-
    C: D:
    27GB 123GB
    Make it
    40GB 110GB
