Does anyone know where I would find a step by step to swap a hard drive in my xbox? I'm running Avalaunch as my dashboard. Thanks!
What do you mean by swap?If you mean puting in another stock HD. It wont work. If you mean upgrading it. Yes you can and i would recommend using XboxHDm_v1.9! Buy you will need your eeprom.bin which you can obtain by running ConfigMagic.
wanna change a hdd (if you have a chip) use an installer (like mine) unlock the one you have (so you can use it elsewhere) take it out put another in stick my disc in (or any other good installer) and it sets it up for you. few clicks of the controller. 1 - format the new drive (sets up partitions) 2 - install dashes 3 - install apps all can be done from the disc (like I said, there are many installers......all do a simular job......mind you mine installs more such as mame, kawax etc)
