Ok .... before I get flamed for not looking this up .... just so everyone knows ... I read all the posts about this ....and I'm still am confused .... I have a softmodded xbox running uleashX .... the hard drive seems to run REALLY slow ... Can I upgrade the hard drive??? I have a hard drive that matches one found on the acceptable hard drive list .... but there seems to be quite a few comments on all these posts that say you can't cheange the stock hard drive on a softmodded xbox .... Any one have any thoughts?? T
I don't think you know what you are talking about. There are huge topics all about upgrading softmodded xbox hard drives. And, my stock hard drive ran just as fast as my upgraded hard drive, so I doubt that you will notice an improvement. After you successfully upgrade your hard drive, there is a good chance that you will have to re-softmod it.
