here is a question, if i take a softmodded hard drive and put it in a modded xbox, should it work the same? do i have to do anything special?
Yes, it would work the same. Hope that you are aware that you would need to reformat that softmodded hardrive. So you would need to backup whats on it, then once its installed FTP the files back onto it.
you just cant throw it in there without putting the eeprom to match the motherboard on there.....thats means you would have to use Xbox Harddrive manager(xbox HDM). unless the xbox your putting the drive in is modded with a chip....
