Hey, I'm trying to install a new harddrive in my xbox because the old one crashed. The problem is that every tutorial I find says I have to make backups from the original harddrive, and as it has crashed and died completely, this is impossible. I was wondering if there was another way to do this, or is there somewher where I can download the necessary files or something? Any help would be great, thanks!
Unless you either backed up the eeprom to your pc at some point or you can get the data to lock the drive to the mobo another way (not possible) you are going to have to take a good long read of this.. http://llamma.com/xbox/Repairs/Reading_Xbox_Hdd_key.htm
