I've got an older Compaq Presario 5000US with a 30G HDD. I want to remove it and add it to my Dell Dimension 4600 with 80G HDD and has WindowsXP Home Edition 512MB DDR P4. It has WindowsME on that drive and loads of music I want off of it. I can't see anything on it because my RAM card is dead and don't have the money to replace it at the moment. My question's are as follows: Will the presence of WindowsME cause problems for me? Will I have to partition for it? How will I be able log on to that drive? Are there problems here or am I making them up? Your help is greatly appreciated! If there's a guide that will help, please provide a link. Thanks in advance.

if using the 30gig as a slave than will have no problem seeing the info on it but if using the 30 as master than won't see info on the 80gig if in ntfs format
