O.K. sports fans here's my dillemma.I have a xbox v1.1;kernel version 4977. A buddy of mine about a year ago put a matrix chip in it and modded it w/the evox 1.8.3752. He then took the chip back out, closed my box up and sent me on my way. Don't get me wrong it's cool but I would like to update the bios. Is there a way to softmod this box. I understand the process of softmodding itself but would I have to erase the old bios first? Could I still back up my c drive? Will I still be able to access msdash? Should I just leave well enough alone? I know this is kind of an abstract question but I could really use some input. Thanks.
