hardrive for eurovox ex5000 not working HELP!!!!

i bought a 120g western digital hard drive from bubblecableboxes.com they said this is the best hard drive to use for the box i have tried putting it in and i'm not sure which way or how i put it in i have tried both ways but to no avail.

had a bit of a scare when i tried forcing it in but not to hard and i couldn't get the thing out i had to get plyers to pull it out in the end.

the box has been recently flashed and is up to date etc

what am i doing wrong PLEASE HELP!!!!
