hardrive for eurovox ex5000 not working HELP!!!!

i have just got my new hard drive through the post its a western digital hard drive 120gb i bought it from bubblecableboxes.com and i have try every way possibal to put it in but i'm havng no joy. i don't want to force it in incase i break it i just don't know what i'm doing wrong.

i have to use plyers to get the thing back out and its a pain in the arse. its been flashed with the latest update so its not that. heres the link to it where i bought it from

i just want to know which way i put it in is it with the motherboard facing up or down?

Motherboard facing down, Check that the pins arn't bent.

 

tried it again its working fine now thanks for the help m8. i was stressed out yest cuz i was in a rush to install it cuz i wanted to record something so i had to do it quick but i got in in the end found out that i had it right way the first time but you have to press record first to make it work i was just going on the pvr menu and it was saying it wasn't installed lol

well i usaully do but i was going out that night and i thought i was not gonna get it sorted before i went out so as a last resort i posted on here and was hoping to get help and look when i came back but i done it in time before i went out i simply did not have time to mess about with it and i didn't want to damge the hard drive by puttin it in the wrong way.
