Hardware/software/firmware

    I know what hardware is.
    I know what software is.

    What is firmware?

    HARDWARE - The bits you can see and touch

    SOFTWARE - The stuff that makes the HARDWARE work

    So can anyone help me with what firmware is? and if it relates to the starview clone box
