Same problem here- I ordered a month and a half ago (beginning of July). Card was charged immediately. The only clear response I've gotten was about 3 weeks ago when they said it would ship out that week. I've gotten no responses to my emails since then, I've sent 4. I think its a scam, no legit business could have this bad customer service. If there is a problem with the order (backordered, etc) just tell me, don't lie and don't ignore customers emails. I'm out over $300 as well, I'll be contacting the bank by this weekend (then the better business bureau, online fraud organization, etc...)

    I'm yet another victim.

I ordered my slim pre-modded ps2 on june 21st and have received nothing. I email them about 5 times every week. If I'm lucky,
I get a response says that they'll ship it out in a few days.

    Of course, nothing ever happens.

They claim that their database was corrupted sometime in June, since the webmaster uploaded the wrong data. Even so, they acknowledge that my order is messed up, yet they still sit on their asses.

Someone said that they have a phone number and email for gamedevilonline. Can you please post it? I want to file a
complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau).

    Thanks.

I read somewhere that you can have Mastercard/VISA rescind payments made to fraudulent sellers. I don't know too much about the details, though. I'm gonna call my bank today to see if they can do anything.

ok. so I called my bank and they're going to have an investigator from the "chargeback" department look into it. They said that I'll get a response in 3-10 business by postal mail.

It was very easy to do. Call your bank and say that you want to be refunded for a fraudulent online transaction. They'll ask you for the date of the order and transaction, as well as the amount.

I suggest everyone does the same.

Take a look at this thread:
    http://p092.ezboard.com/fgamezoneforumsfrm2.showMessage?topicID=181.topic

Interestingly enough, here's a reply from Gamedevil to another unsatisfied customer. There's a posting with an email reply from GameDevil.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"This is the last email where he promised a refund and admitted that he sent nothing. No refund as yet.

All I want to say is I am trying to play it straight going forward. Yes I actually would send you consoles pre-pay after this refund goes through. I have no reason not to trust you. I'm desperate to save some face and embarrassed as hell that the money wasn't here today as expected.

I know you've been told a lot of things. All I can say, as I believe I said before, is I am so backed up on individual orders right now I kept having to move the consoles to the [bold]people who were in a position to do me the most damage either through chargeback or otherwise.[/bold] In short, you gave me enough rope to hang myself and that is what I did. At no point have I been resting on my laurels. At any rate I look forward to telling you the wire has been done and we put this behind us."

    Lesson learned:

    "Chargeback" and ye shall receive.

I received my premod PS2 about a month after ordering and it was DOA. He promised to send a new one and even said it had been shipped but he never shipped it. I am in the process of reporting him to the authorities. I will also file a claim with my credit card company.

You'll need his address to file a claim.
I found it on another forum where people were
complaining about not getting their stuff from
    GameDevilOnline.

    Here it is:

I ordered a PS2 from them too and it was back in May. To date I still have not received the item and I dount I will ever get it. I have sent them NUMEROUS emails and they claimed that either they did not receive them or they simply ignored my emails. They did say that they had sent it, but they were never able to provide any proof of that. I honestly do not believe the item was ever sent. I am going to file a complaint to my back, the credit card company and to the online place where I can report fradulent activities. I did sent them another email telling them that this was what I would do but again, that e-mail was ignored. At one point they did say they would process the refund for me but that was about three weeks ago. To date, the refund still has not appeared on my credit card. So if you ever want to deal with this company, be prepared!!! But you can always avoid all the trouble be dealing with ANOTHER place.

Since I need their address and contact info to report this, could someone post the link here again or suggest which other forum I can get this piece of info? Is there any method I can get a hold of their address and phone number? Please help me!

    Gamedevil is

Ill respect the wishs of the mods and not directly publish the info as I now see it has been removed in another post.

Here are some interesting links I've found on the internet
http://www.nhhockey.com/nhhigh/DivThree/Div3Rosters/04Monadnock.html Player #16, hes a forward and fairly good I hear. Do a search on his name to find out more about him. Or you can just PM me too.

Wow where to start with this guy. I've been dealing with Mike since July trying to get my PS2 moded and a HD connect added to my V12. No joke, I’ve sent over 100+ emails / MSN messages in an attempt to get what I paid for. Most of them met with no replies, the rest with lies and empty promises. I’m now approaching 4 months and counting for a 5 day job.

The good news, I was lucky, after almost 2 months of dealing with this guy on a daily basis I final got my box back. The bad side of my luck, it had a different serial number, different guts, and the HD connection didn't function at all. How do I know, thank God for digital cameras. I took pictures of the serial and the inside guts (had to have something to show for my botched attempt at the mod before I shipped it out). Seems my mistakes are no longer evident on the board.

I've spent the last 2 months attempting to get what I paid for, unfortunately my emails are still met with no replies. The only time I receive contact is when I threaten CC fraud.

I suggest to everyone out there that is still dealing with this guy.

    1) If you paid with CC or Paypal start your dispute claim now. Most CC companies will deduct the amount from your bill until the dispute is settled (I started my dispute 2 months ago, I’m sending in the paperwork the CC company requested tomorrow to finalize the dispute). Once you finalize it the CC company will go after their money through him or if it’s a small amount they just drop it. My CC company laughed and took it off my bill while I was still on the phone.

    2) Make sure… make sure… make sure you receive a tracking number before you back off. I was told no less then 7 times something was shipped to me when it wasn’t. It’s a bunch of lies, don’t by into them and even if you receive a tracking number verify size and weight with the shipping company.

    3) Make sure you save every email/MSN or anything else between you and him. You’ll need it to dispute the charges and if you want to be a pain you’ll certainly need them to push the CC company for fraud charges.

Thankfully Mike puts enough lies into his emails (the few times he replies) that he makes it easy for you.

    4) Investigate with your CC company / paypal what it will take to bring fraud charges against him and his company. I’ve contacted my CC company about it, they seem to be interested in the deceit, the fact that the company closed shop, and for me the fact that what I shipped to him is not what I received back.

[bold]I encourage everyone to investigate what you need to do to bring CC fraud charges, not just a dispute[/bold]. I’m sure the more fraud accusations brought against Gamedevil the more you will have your CC / paypal company on your side.

To any mods, I apologize for posting information about gamedevil if it’s not permitted but if you’ve had any dealings with them you would know this info is difficult to get and there are a lot of people looking for it. If a mod removes the info I am more the willing to provide it by PM if requested. GL to all of you still dealing with this bum.

    Aka. Stork
