This post has nothing to do with hacking the popular game Halo 2, but rather the less popular game Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow. Two nights ago, I got into a rather long discussion/argument with somebody on RS3: BA, who was claiming that there were people who have hacked the game and played on Live. After doing some research, I've figured out that it was me that was wrong--people have hacked BA online, I've seen a video of it now. I was curious as to how people have been able to do this. I could play the game offline with mods, but without Live detecting modified files or a softmod enabled how do people play it online?
Once you have the files on your xbox, you turn off the softmod and go online.. and R63: BA is awesome.
Yes RS3: BA is awesome, but I'm still curious as to how they did it. What do you mean they turn off the softmod and go online? If the softmod is off, it is impossible to play a hacked game, right?
I believe you will still get banned. I done this for halo 2 and uninstalled my soft mod completely and it still only took them an hour to ban me. Maybe Rainbow six is different but I'd like to know how they get away with it!
