I backed this game a few days ago, and it will only play the menu of the game.

I got a working copy from a torrent file, no patch as far as I know, unless it was already patched in the torrent but I doubt it. Burned at 4x speed with dvd decrypter and it works great.

Im using swap magic 3.6 & slide tool.

I backed mine (original, not download) with NO patch and game plays perfect. DVD Decrypter read/write @ 4x, using TY 4x DVD-R media.

Also, I want to note I don't go online and I use Single player mode. I think you need the patch to go online and multiplayer mode.

Shit! I hope that this game will work with my DMS4 E.Z.I. By the way, why does DVD Decrypter say "Disc is empty" when I put in my original GTA3 DVD? I used clonyXXl and it says Libcrypt like all my other ps2 games (the others backed up fine) Is there a problem with my ASPI drivers or something?

just open the tray and reinsert the disc and dvddecrypter will recognize your disc.
