I'm halfway through my trial period of CloneDVD and I'm leaning lightly towards buying the full version. It seems to me a good combination of DVDShrink (with its capabilities of retaining menus while blacking out other unnneeded items) and DVD2One (with its quality and speed).

It can do a complete disk copy or just a movie-only copy and I'm also partial to its ability to burn after transcoding (just like DXCXpress).

I haven't had any coasters with this software and if it were free and/or had its own ripping ability, I'd probably put this software above the rest. I guess this is why I still use all of them (depending on my needs) to make backup copies of my DVDs.

Has anyone else been using/trying out CloneDVD? What do you guys think of it?

To be honest I haven't tried it yet. So far I usually use DVD2one for my full movies, and "movie only" discs, and DVDshrink for my episodals. I guess for me it's not worth buying another piece of software if what I have is meeting my needs.

Does the trial version give you full functionality? If so I might give it a try.

Why oh why doesn't someone write something like DVDClone or DVDshrink for Mac OS !!! I know we maccers have DVD2oneX, but I'd really like to have some say in whether I really need Spanish subtitles (but still all the others 'extras') in my finished copy. I know, I know "PC vs Mac" all over again...

Roll on an update for DVD2oneX with more selection options ...!!!...

the CLONE ,, CLONE the best out there,,,, no even 321 studios came out with this wonderful piece of art ,,, dvd xpress is good ,but the clone is better. This European company seems to always target all the points missing from another enterprises.
