Has anyone heard of a Panasonic DMR-T6070P

    I have this model and have the famous U99 error after many years of troublefree operation. I have read hundreds of articles with identical U99 problems but for the DMR-80, 85's and 95's. Looking up those units they look almost identical to mine. I bought mine through an audio magazine early 2005. Is my unit actually an 80, 85 or 95 and can I attempt some of the repairs listed for those units. I am an electronic technician with fairly good skills so could attempt work not recommended for laymen.

    I think your unit has more features than those. It was part of Panny's "PROLINE" series.
