Sorry to annoy those who have been in the loop the entire time, but I've been out of it. I did a search but couldn't find anything recent: has stealthing 360 backups changed recently? i got the latest agbx360 and autofixed an iso at level 3, and it seemed fine. however, i remember before i stopped checking afterdawn that using the default settings for agbx360 is risky; i remember reading something about having to manually patch the isos, no matter what? or is the default agbx 1.02 good enough? thanks for your time.
mod? you mean download the wave 6 abgx video iso from the website and manually patch the game iso with it?
No, he means the mod for abgx360 so it recognises the wave 6 (and all earlier) video files. There's a thread with a link to it on here somewhere if you try a search.
http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152/abgx360_unofficial_update_mod-834705/#5038727 is that it? an unofficial agbx360 mod is more reliable than the default settings?
Yes, that's it and yes, the mod adds support for the video waves that the current version of abgx360 does not support. I can't remember if abgx360 supports wave 4, but I know it definitely doesn't support waves 5 and 6. That means, without this mod, abgx360 cannot autofix a wave 5 or 6 ISO if the video partition is corrupt, incorrect or missing, and it cannot automatically add split-vid to a wave 5 or 6 ISO. With the mod, you don't get any of those issues (and no more yellow warnings about unrecognised video waves) and abgx360 works with wave 5 and 6 ISOs just like it would with any others. I've been using it for ages now and it works just fine.
