    will a BD-ROM disc drive burn Blu-Rays yes or no

    i am just asking because my brother told me that it would burn Blu-Rays & i just wanted to make sure if it did or did not do it before i bought one & wasted my money on something that would not do what i wanted it to do

    has to be a burner\writer. a dvd rom drive only reads dvd & cd but can't burn. same as a cd rom drive can only read cd but cannot burn. only a a burner\writer can both burn & read disks.
