Hello all, very new here. Hope I am not duplicating a thread. I have a well modded XBox. I bought it from someone. I have a virgin un-modded XBox as well. It would sure be nice to have two modded versions. This way I can play too. (The wife is constantly on the thing now!) Is there a way I can clone (or Ghost) the drive in the modded machine and install the new cloned drive in the un-modded machine? I've seen the hotswapping from a modded XBox tutorials but I don't understand.. if I put a new drive in the XBox don't I have to fix the eeprom or flash the BIOS? I'm not the smartest guy in the world but I am somewhat handy, do have some knowledge and am very good at following directions.\ Its just that there are so many directions I'm not sure how they all fit together and if I need to take all the steps since I already have a modded box. thanks for your help in advance it is greatly appreciated let me know if I can help you back somehow! Hey there, unles you want to chip both consoles, the easy option is to "Softmod" them.(less $$ outlayed & do it yourself quickly) You can just softmod the standard hdd, but if you want a bigger hdd to save games to, then you will need the eeprom from each existing hdd to build the new drive before instaling them.
