    Hi,
I was using Nero 6.6.1.4 on my old XP box but I've just got a new PC with Vista Ultimate x64 and I'm wondering if I should upgrade to Nero 8? I've stuck with Nero 6.6 for a while since I've read that everything beyond that was bloatware. Wondering if Nero 8 brings anything new/better to the table over 6.6, or is it just more bloat?

    TIA.

Nero 6 is not compatible with Vista...versions 7.5.9.0 onwards are ...I recommend 7.10.1.0

still on 6.6.0.18 here (6.6.1.4 is ok though apart from this - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/325848 - easily fixed). However i now use Imgburn (free) more than Nero, and the only thing stopping me ditching Nero altogether is that Imgburn doesn't (seem to) allow multiple concurrent burns

Never heard of ImgBurn, but it's freeware so I'm gonna give it a try. Thanks!
