ok I got a max drive pro flashed my bio's with GCOS (newest) and my gamecube would only read the max drive pro disc every like 10 tries..So I cleaned the lens and it works perfect but none of my backups work..I got all legit iso's burned them on Ridata DVD-R which is said to be the best and tried burning at 4x with nero, and 4x and 1x with ImgBurn..I am getting so pissed and already have tried 15 backups with no luck..I hit retry but nothing..without trying to adjust my pod is there something I can do and can it be the bios im using or is there a way to use a loader like ps2 or run a game directly from the max drive pro mem card..Something someone please!!
Perhaps you need to tweak your Laser. Most people need to do that for reading backups with the GC. Just google for a guide.
