I have an external DVD burner attached to my laptop and it's installed with no problems. I have downloaded a copy of Clone-DVD 2 but when I try to run the programme I get the following error. 'original leveli0.dll missing' and the programme wont run. I then considered trying 1 click DVD but the accompanying css decryptor doesn't work on Win ME apparently.

If anyone could give me a solution as to how I might 'back up' my DVD's I would be eternally grateful...

    Many thanks in advance

The painless solution would be DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. But if your OS of Windows is FAT32 I'd use Shrink and Nero.

Yup ... Windows ME = FAT32 = must use Shrink and Nero.

    Russ617-

I just re-read what you originaly posted. You need an application like AnyDVD (prefered) or DVD43 running with Elby's CloneDVD2 to crack the CSS - copy protection. I use the CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD combination with great results.

Did you have one of these 2 apps running?

Just a quick question. Is DVD43 compatible with CloneDVD2? I've tried this combination but keep getting the encryption error.

Hmmmm...I honestly don't know. I've never used the combination. If you're getting that type error it must not. The thing I like about AnyDVD is that it removes CSS and Macrovision, you can record a copy to VHS tape.

    riker147...
There are users that have had problems with the freeware version of DVD43 and CloneDVD. AnyDVD offers a free trial, and so you can try it and verify if you too are having DV43 problems.

Here is a thread wit some people that are very pleased with the AnyDVD and CloneDVD combo.
