i hope my message isn't redundant for alot of you pros out there..

anywho, i have around 60 gigs of anime on my computer and i want to burn em off to dvd-r, so i got a program called winavi converter, and i converted some of the files to dvd which turn out to be vob files, just to see if they worked when i burned them. After the tedious process i used the [burn dvd video files] option and i tried adding those vob files and it worked. But when i clicked burn. It did a dvd compilation test and it failed, and it says that it couldn't detect ifo or iso files. I am a newbie at this and i've spent days looking for programs that are free and work well. i think winavi is the best converter so far, but i just wish it would burn. Do i need to convert them to MPEG 1 or 2? or what? WHAT TO DO? and should i burn em off as data or use the [burn dvd video files] option? pleaz reply ASAP..in need of help

I used WinAVI to convert 20-25 short AVI clips from a digicam to VOB, IFO and BUP files. I batch converted them and burned with Nero 6.x. Worked for me.

    luck-

There is an incrediably great difference between the two. You might begin by checkijng the Glossary at the top of the page to find out the difference.

If you need an IFO file try IFO edit. If you're working with ISO's try ISO Buster -

BTW, there are a ton of guides at the top of the page too -

    cheers,

    Pete
