sometimes when i want to install a program e.g Physics...the windows installer won't let me install it...what should i do...
ok actually its my friends computer...anyways, he has 64bit windows, he installed Medal Of Honor Airborne, but when its trying to install physics...the window installer pops up and wouldn't let him install...why?...this happens sometimes...
If it uses PhysX by AGeia, it may not be able to install on windows 64 because a 64-bit version of the driver is needed. Ageia may not have made one yet, or the game may not come with one. Windows x64 needs different drivers to 32-bit versions. Vista 64-bit is particularly bad because it doesn't support unsigned drivers - e.g. when in windows you normally get the "continue anyway" dialog box, that's not an option. Unsigned drivers aren't allowed.
oh i know that this does not relate to the topic and i dont want to start a new thread... ok my mobo restart and freezes...its the mobo's problem...do you think i should update the bios?...and how?
So you want to anyway? Make a bootable disc (CD or floppy) with your motherboard's BIOS update utility on it and then put the updated BIOS on there too. Boot from it, and follow the instructions.
what?...i'm a totally amateur when it comes to software stuff...boot disc with the mobo's bios?...how do i do that?...and where do you get the updated bios?
well they do have the bios update, but it doesn't do much its only "Fixed can not detect slow speed FAN" it has nothing to do with the problem...
i thought its the bios problem...well cant help it, can i...oh well i'm still waiting for the new AMD cpu... oh about gaming problem...when i'm playing CSS sometimes has a problem with the DX9 or something related to it, or it just jumps out the game?...why?...
well that sucks having a good gpu and can't run a simple graphics game properly...really it just sucks... ok do you think getting a quad core cpu a better idea or a dual core cpu?...i know that there isn't a program or game that supports quad core yet...but dont you think getting a quad core is better in the future?
I'd stick with a dual core for now, there have been advantages to having two cores since windows 95, you just couldn't do it back then. Even now, I wouldn't have use for a quad core.
