Having problems backing up Family Guy Season 4 DVDs...

    Every time I try to back them up, I can't use the DVD menu to access episodes (VideoLAN just stops playing the DVD and my other DVD players just won't play it at all).

    Is this an encryption problem or something?

    Probably not but what program(s) are you using to back them up? Are your using an original dvd? Brand of media?

    I backed them up using DVD Decrypter and DL discs no problem ... perfect copies .. nothing special as far as encryption goes ...

    I used Decrypter like you. Though, why are you using DL DVDs? Family Guy Vol. 3 are all on single-layer DVDs.
