HAVING PROBLEMS BURNING VIDEO FILES WITH ROXIO.

I recently downloaded some video files from a site called btjunkie and went through uttorent to download then but when I try to burn them to a disc using roxio easy media creator 9 I'm told the files can't be added because there are no media files in this folder that match the filter settings. To change the filter settings click the filter for media type buttons, and also that there are no types of files in this folder , media manager only displays media files. Anyone ever have this problem because this never occurs with limewire downloads and is there a way to explain how to change this so the files will be added. I know that windows media player will open these files to watch and there has to be a way to add them to a DVD+R disc . I tried using a codec and this didn't help.
