It's possible that write speed was set too high (MAX), if the quality of your media is so so, then burning too fast can possibly cause this. Try re-burning at 1/2 the rated speed of the media and retry playing the DVD.

Also, make sure the DVD is clean of finger prints before trying to back it up.

Where do I get an early release of this DVD? I thought it wasn't out until Tuesday.

1x is to slow you want to burn at 6x to 8x max using good media like Tayio Yuden or Verbatim

Hi All...made easy backup copy of T4:Salvation(R1) using AnyDVD 6.6.0.3 on the fly and then Shrink (movie only--less end credits as I always do) and movie was compressed to only 90%. Burned with Nero. Excellent picture on backup.

forgot to say that I burned to disc at 8x on a 16x disc. I never burn higher than 8x, sometimes 6x, on ANY disc. I use TYs or Verbaitum discs only.

Yup, easy back-up with dvdfab 6.2.1.0 at 8x speed and 4400 on a single layer disc.
