Having problems with an n5

I bought one of these from a friend which had the games already loaded onto it. It worked ok for 3 days and then all of a sudden it stopped.
I have looked for ideas on how to fix but am stumped as when i tried the black page still says loading up.
I've just read some reviews on the n5 card as well and some people are saying that it can damage your machine, is this true?

If you still want to continue using the N5, then try copy all the games and system files to your pc and reformat the N5, put all files back and see if that work. good luck

may i suggest you get a supercard ds1 or acekard 2. i written a quick guide here.
