You need to remove your serial number... it starts with 1c82... delete that asap.

Other than that I can't help you sorry.

thread teleported to relevant forum and serial number removed.

    - this paragraph seems to suggest your (ancient) burner's firmware can recognise those 16x discs, which is odd as this burner can only manage the following -
    4.0x DVD+R
    2.4x DVD+RW
    4.0x DVD-R
    2.0x DVD-RW

'fraid you need to stick to 4x discs, though they're becoming scarce now. The firmware for the burner you have there hasn't been supported for a long time, Basically firmware is what 'teaches' a drive about makes of media, burn speeds, how to interpret media etc etc, and your drive is just not recognising that media as the firmware is (probably current) however very old and the discs you're trying to use are newer than the burner is equipped to recognise/use.

There is a 1.0c version firmware out there for that drive.
That part shows you are in bad need of memory. With that you are going to still have problems if you do find some 4x media. You can try turning off any apps running before burning. Your best bet is get some more memory if the comp can take it.

oops i'd missed the memory, and the firmware, though my comment re 4x media still stands

the last firmware update is 1.0C:
    http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_search.php
try the update ...... you have 1.0B...... can't hurt to update your firmware. just put your model # in the search and you'll see your firmware for that drive. download and install the latest firmware, 1.0C
