Having trouble setting up my Eurovox.

    I have the Eurovox 2008, my cable provider is Chorus, I'm located in Dublin. I followed the instructions in the thread on how to update the box to the letter, and when it scanned for channels a lot aren't coming up or working. I'm not picking up S*y Sports 1 at all, and a lot of channels are just showing a jumbled frozen screen. I don't get the message "updating codes..." at all. I've reset to factory settings a few times and tried to scan for the channels but it hasn't worked so far. Is there a way to sort this all out? Thanks a lot.

    Download a CDF file for Chorus and you should be good to go, the jumbled frozen screen could be a signal problem though, you can turn on the Booster in TV settings menu on the box and see if that helps.

    What kind of file is a CDF (channel dump file right?)? I have an excel file with frequencies for all the channels, I assume I can't just stick that onto the Eurovox? Is it illegal to ask where to get a CDF file? Googling did me no good...
