I always run my dvd's through DvdFabDecryter and then through VobBlanker and then burn with Nero recode and i've done this with success for two months now,but now all of a sudden I keep getting (Nero Recode encountered an error and cannot continue. This DVD is copy-protected There are no more files. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Nero and Vob and i'm still getting the same message. I already used up my trial version of AnyDvd so I don't know what else to remove copyright-protection..
Hi shinya Which version of DVDFab are you using? There has been some reported problems w/ the v3 from some users here and other sites that Fengtao has been working out. If not using the latest one you may want to try that one: 3.0.3.5. Another option would be RipIt4Me. Uses Shrink instead of Recode. But if you prefer Recode just use the wizard mode after after FixVTS is done you can open those files in Recode: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/360110 Give that a go and let us know!
I just tried Ripit4me and with my luck it crashed. My question is if I bought AnyDvd will I be able to use it with Nero and Shrink??
If these programs are giving you problems, it could be a badly pressed disc or maybe there is a program running in the background that conflicts. Posting a Nero log would help.
You may or may not get a log when Nero is crashing w/ the encountered an error and cannot continue It's happening during the encoding so something is up w/ the files. Post the log RipIt4Me log. Open RipIt4Me and go to Logs/Setting. Check either 'saved logs' (if you saved it) or Debug Log. dialysis1 is good w/ RipIt4Me. Yes you can use AnyDVD w/ Nero & Shrink. But post the log from RipIt4Me - it may just be a setting thing. Or like dialysis1 said a bad press.

Ok DefFixVTSPath=C:\Documents and Settings\Aaron\My Documents\FixVTS1.6.zip UnZip this file and save the .exe to this folder instead of the .zip file. DefDVDShrinkPath= Set the path to Shrink .exe file. You've got a few im's running too - may want to close those before running RipIt4Me. For American Haunting yep you will need something more than Shrink or Decrypter - this one has all the Sony ARccOS crap on it.
