having trouble with DVD+R

    so someone purchased some "DVD+R's" for me to copy some DVDs. thing is, they don't seem to work. what kind of firmware do i need or anything to get these things to play copied dvds. they are Phillips dvd+r an i am using an HP laptop with windows 7.

    also is there any fresh software that wants to copy protected dvd's from BLOCKBUSTER?

    Did you purchase these copy protected dvd's from BLOCKBUSTER?
