Having trouble with make backups of pc games

    I have tried making backups for my pc games, madden 2005 and nba live 2004. i used the program clone cd and clony xxl, both went smoothly but when i tried to play them. both of them said error and cant play them, something like that. If anybody knows what im doing wrong of what i need to do different, please let me know... thanks
