Hawking Tech. broadband booster

have any of you tried out the Hawking Tech Broadband Booster (hbb1)
it technically doesnt boost your connection, but does route your network traffic more efficiently. i.e. connected to gaming server gets priority, then other people on the network sharing connection.
i picked one up at the local fry's elec. but havent installed it yet.
i think when i test it on one machine ill just have streaming music video's playing then go to a game server on another machine and see what latency i get..

i was just writing to see if any has tried it out yet...
