Yep but you'll need a burner & software that support it. Nero 7 & Roxio say they support burning to blu ray discs. Now the cost of one - let alone the discs themselves - are quite costly. Pioneer & LG have them coming on the market. Here's 2 links for you: http://www.afterdawn.com/news/archive/7558.cfm http://www.afterdawn.com/news/archive/7587.cfm
You're welcome! Looks like the burning will be costly enuf - then I don't know what program will handle the copy protection - if doing dvd back ups. But I look at it this way by the time I'm able to afford the dvd writer and discs I'm sure there will be a program like AnyDVD to handle it. Hi there, VSO Software will release CopyToDVD v4.00 sometimes in 2006. Is will also support BluRay and probably HD-DVD also. It's still in ßeta so lots might change (New and better stuff)... ---------------------------------------------------------------- I also read that TDK released some Single Layer BluRay media (25gb) but at a price of $19.99US each. Ouch ! I think the main question won't be, can we burn BluRay media, I think it will be: Will we be able to RIP those BluRay Movies !!! My 2 cents...
