Hello all, i hoping you can help, are the any of these box that support HD. The UK has just launched FreeSat and there will be free HD channels. Can any one tell me if there are going to be anybox that will be HD soon, or is it best to get FreeSat or sky hd. Or if some one can point me in the right direction of an existing thread thanks
im also interested,not living in the uk but id be interested to see if anyone knows of a HD box in the pipeline?
HI BBC and ITV have just launched Freesat and there will be 80 channels to start off with. It will include BBC HD from the start with two more HD channels to follow from ITV and Channel 4. They plan to have up to 200 channels by year end. You will be able to purchase a HD Freesat box from Argos in the North of Ireland for £119 - £150 sterling depending on model . They are not currently in stock in Argos but are listed in their online catalog. It will be a once off payment for the box which will also have extensive EPG guides. Hope this helps.
