There could of been a couple places to post this but whatever. I went with the Linux forum. I was thinking about getting an HD-DVD Xbox 360 add-on to hook up to my computer and use as a drive. Now i know there are drivers for XP so that it recognizes it as an HD-DVD drive. I was wondering if there are any drivers for linux. Running Ubuntu Feisty BTW.
Ok, ran into a problem. Do you know how i am supposed to patch the udf.ko file? I downloaded the patch file at the bottom of the page, but what do i do with it?
did you copy the file to /lib/modules/2.6.20-15-generic/kernel/fs/udf/udf.ko thatz prolly what you have to do cuz u cant execute it
Yea but how do you do that? How can a copy a file into a file? I think i read somewhere that i have to recompile the udf.ko file but im a noob so i don't really know how to that.
