Ok, I just installed my new hard drive and I know a lot of people have problems with this so just a few tips I discovered. First, I used this website which someone posted here on another post:

    http://www.copying-xbox-games.com/upgrade-xbox-hard-drive.php

so a special thanks to the creators of that site and to the people who post it. A few pointers though, if you were like me and renamed your default dash to xboxdash.xbe, make sure that you rename it default.xbe before making your iso, otherwise you'll have problems (at least I did). Also, make sure you have a backup of you ini file before you modify it, because you will need to load it back after your install, otherwise you will lose lots of your menu item! Also, try burning with different types of medium, my xbox wouldn't read the iso off of a cd-r, but would off of a dvd+rw, also try loading the medium a few times, sometimes the dvd drive will choke and not read, even though everything is correct.

Now for my question, my reason for the new HD was so that I could load emulators and games on the HD, but I still don't have an apps or games folder in my F drive! I tried creating an apps folder and put the whole xnes folder in there with some roms. I was able to do this, but I still don't see anything under the apps menu. Is the folder supposed to already be there? Am I doing something wrong? By the way, I am using xecuter 2.2 lite with evox dash. Thanks for the help!

aahhh, I found the problem, the folder needs to be named "applications", after that everything showed up. xnes emulator runs really slow though, any suggestions?
