HD Loader Question

Do you need to format the HD or just plug it in? I bought a new maxtor 80 today and was wondering if I just unwrap it and go, or do I need to do something else?

P.S. The copy of HD Loader on the net is now cracked.

 

just answered my own question. Apparently once installed into the PS2 and you boot up HD Loader, You can format the drive with HD Loader. Cool, that comes right from the website.

Hi,

I have a 50002 model PS2 with a messiah 2 chip installed.
I can load PS2 cdr back ups fine but can NOT load any PS2 dvd back ups at all.
Everything i try it always says not a valid PS2 disc.
Can anyone please help.
