HD RECEPTION

    Can anyone tell me whether you can get hd reception from a cable receiver box or what way to get it other than s*y thanxxx

    I get HD over the air from local stations.
    The local PBS station has three HD signals.
    I don't have cable, because I ain't paying to watch advertising.
