I recorded a football game on my HD-DVR, and now I want to burn it to DVD. I have already captured the game to my computer in the form of 23 .ts files (rather than edit out commercials, I just made separate recordings for each game segment between commercials.)

Now I have to get these files (roughly 19GB) converted and authored onto a DL DVD. What is the best (easiest and cheapest) way?

Another thread suggested using HDTV2DVD for the conversion - but this had several problems. First, it only allowed me to convert 1 file at a time, and because I couldn't convert all the files at once, I couldn't use the "shrink" feature to make sure the whole game fit on one disk. Second, not only were the resulting mpegs a little too big, but I couldn't get Nero 6 Ultimate to burn them, at least not with the 5.1 audio preserved.

Other threads have suggested using convertx2dvd for conversion and DVDLab for authoring. Will these work? Do the free trial versions offer full functionality? If the answer to either question is no, what software would you recommend?
