HD Upconversion?

    Will a DVD Player that comes with HD Upconversion play HD DVD's or does it just convert regular DVD's to digital?

    An upconversion DVD player cannot play an HD DVD disc. You still need an HD DVD player to play HD DVD discs.

    If you have one of the combo releases (HD DVD on one side and regular DVD on the other) then you can play the DVD side on an upconvert DVD player.
