    Hi,
I have PS2 slim with Mcboot and a HDD 125GB with installed games on it.
When I was making this disk everything was fine and it could be read under Windows and Linux OS. After connecting it to my PS2 and start playing after a while I can't read it on these OS's. When I connect sometimes it is not shown on my computer or it require to format it.
Games are all readable on hdd and playable.
Somebody got this situation and solve it ?
    Regards,

Try the hdd on a computer other than your own also try changing usb cable first on yours. That's all i got. Unless the hdd is not fat32

Problem solved. Looks like if you format HDD with Windows it can't be read properly when attached to PS2. If formatted with Gparted from Ubuntu it is recognised without a problem and you can start games from it. Under Windows it is formated with Partition magic and also with Windows formatter (same result).
