Hi, My question is I have an origanal xbox stock hdd with nothing on it apart from the MS bios and no dashboard! My X3 BIOS I have the Xecuter BIOS with no dashboard installed because I don't know how. I have brought an unlocked xbox hdd stock 10g seagate hdd that came out of a working xbox. Can someone please help me with installing it instructing what to do with the eeprom and how to partion and format the hdd so I can use it properly. or direct me to a tutorial
Go to xbox-scene.com and download a program called xboxhdm. Within that download is a tutorial that should help you to use it for what you need. I'm sorry, I'm at work on my lunch break and I can't access that site from here or else I'd give you the link.
So basically all I have to do is save the eeprom from my orignal hdd to my new hdd. I can save the eeprom to my chip and then restore it I think well thats what it says and I have that xboxhdm program anyway Its just aload of files
