HDD Fail on XBOX, wondering if able to swap

    My Xbox HDD up and died(?) with error 07. This system isn't modded and is a v1.6. I have another HDD that I had taken off another system that was modded which I left unlocked prior to storage. Can I do a swap of the HDD's? If so, how do I lock the new one to the current system?

    ALSO, since I'll have to open the system up, I'm debating on modding this one. What's the scoop on the Xecuter X3 CE?

    i had the same problem, but mine was modded. I bought a new 160gb HDD for it and used slayers 2.7 to install it.Sorry, i dont think u can do install the new hard drive if it isnt modded. maybe u can, but i dont know how.
