OK, i know about the 40GB sony HDD ($99.00, too much for me), but i have many PC Hard Drives the fit into my Ps2 Network Adapter, but they are less that 40GB. I was wondering if i would be able to use one of me Hard drives to replace my memory card, and if yes, can tell me what i need to do and if theres nething i need to get, (software/hardware etc...)

Wow, I didn't know u could use normal hard drives in the PS2. Is there a certain size they have to be to fit in the port, or are they all a standard size?

sorry I can't help about the memory card thing, I'm guessing you probrably could like on X-box, but dont know how.

I don't believe there is a way to do that currently. Games try to save to MC0: for the first memory card so a program would have to intercept that call to write to the memory card and redirect it to the hard drive.

As an alternate, I have a Sharkport that works real well. It connects between my PC and PS2 via USB and lets me copy files from the memory card to the PC hard drive and the other direction too. I think there is a newer one called XPort that does the same thing, the Sharkport is not being made anymore.
