The Box PVR does not recognised the HDD after it has been switched off due to power cuts etc My box froze so I turned it off today and now it saying "no HDD" I dont really want to be re-formatting the HDD everytime ths happens cos I lose all the recorded programmes Is there any other way to sort this rather than disconnecting the HDD then formatting
Hi You will get this problem with a power cut but not by switching it off first then unplugging it, so maybe the H/D is caput after a power cut, try a software menu system re-format if no good you need to try a different hard drive, especially if the PVR works ok with the H/D disconnected. jbvid
