HI everyone.. im new to this site and hope you guys can help me out. I own a Xbox with Aladdin EX chip and WD 200GB hdd Evox +3935 installed. I have the following problem: 1) my backup games dont work from hdd anymore, if i start a game from hdd it freezes up. 2) my cd's of the games work perfect, i also cleared out cache files and deleted the games and installed again but still freezing up.. I get the loading screen and then NOTHING i have tryed so many things but just cant seem to solve the problem. I have also checked my time/clock due to the fact that while moving to turkey my xbox could of lost its clock settings. Also this didnt help Is it possible that my hdd is having bad blocks? all the other stuff works fine! its just the games. Please help me with this problem.. for fast contact ovh@hotmail.com on msn thnx! ps: is it possible to check the disk by taking it out of the xbox and checkdisk on Windows XP machine?
if you have upgraded to a biger hdd try to put ur old one back in and put one game on it and see if it works. if not maybe it not your hdd it might be your xbox its self.
