hddvd and blueray on xbox360

    hi have seen a few film on the net for 360 blue ray and hd films

    now i know the the 360 can play stuff from extranl hd just can not write to them .so if i copyied a movie to hdisk would it play or do i need some kind of hardware to play them tia

    The blu-ray and hd-dvd movies you see have been converted to .wmv format. The 360 will play .wmv's... that's why they say their for the 360. You can save them on your pc's hdd and just stream them to the 360.

    You can use Windows Media Player, Orb, or TVersity to stream.
